History

Formed in 2007, The Longfield Family Foundation is focused on enhancing educational outcomes for K-12 students in the Greater Boston area.

The foundation was created by Chuck and Susie Longfield, who have dedicated themselves to improving the lives of urban youth. Giving freely of their time and personal resources, both have committed their support to a range of education causes.

After selling their technology companies, the Longfields funded the Longfield Family Foundation as a way to pursue their passion and commitment for supporting innovative educational initiatives around Boston. The foundation currently supports more than twenty Boston area schools and non-profits with a focus on ensuring all students are given the tools to achieve their greatest potential.
